Vilkmerges Vyšniu Kriek is a cherry-flavoured Kriek beer from Lithuanian brewery, Vilkmerges Alus. The brewery is based in Ukmerge in central Lithuania and produces a range of premium craft ales. Brewed in the style of a traditional Belgian Kriek, fresh cherry juice is blended with strong Belgian-style ale to create a fruity, slightly sour beer with a bright red hue.

An intense aroma of ripe cherries rises from the beer, and the juicy, bittersweet flavour of cherry follows, alongside pleasant malty flavours. Vilkmerges Vyšniu Kriek pairs well with chocolate desserts, cheesecake or fresh cheeses such as mascarpone.
